What we provide
School liaison
Wiseup co-ordinates with school partners to engage and manage the student participants on the mentorship programme.
Mentor selection & training
Wiseup supports the selection of the mentor community and provides guidance and daily assistance across the programme, in order to maximise your corporate social responsibility activities
We deliver a 2.5 hour Mentor Briefing Workshop/training for the mentors, led by a professional Wiseup Mentor & Career Coach.
This covers the programme details, methods and techniques for delivering great mentoring. Topics include - how to safely and responsibly deliver great mentoring to young people from a diverse range of backgrounds, practical exercises, questions and sessions structures to support the sessions themselves. We distribute written guides for mentors to have handy throughout the programme.
Programme coordination
Your dedicated Programme Manager will co-ordinate and schedule and facilitate all 1-2-1 mentoring sessions between mentor and mentee.
We can support the curation and delivery of the work experience placement.
Additionally, we are able to support any apprenticeship opportunities you may wish to pursue in light of your programme
Wiseup continues to provide support to both mentees and mentors for months and years to come – ensuring both parties build a strong relationship for the future.

About us
We're proud to shape the lives of young people around the UK
We have been running our own professional mentoring platform since 2019, and built a community of 200+ Wiseup Mentors. Along the way, we have learnt what truly impactful mentoring looks like. We have delivered many mentoring programmes for young people, supporting our partners as The Manchester College and initiatives such as The Kickstart Scheme.
Feeling inspired to further help the next generation, we launched The Pathfinder Programme, with the vision to change the way young people gain insight and access to the world of work through life-changing mentoring and work experience initiatives for individuals who feel they lack the connections to kickstart their careers in industries they are passionate about.
With mentoring expertise from 6+ years running our own professional coaching and mentoring platform, our core mission is to support an underrepresented yet crucial segment of the UK population: 16-18 year olds at a key time in their lives and early careers.
We believe that there is endless talent in our UK school system, yet opportunities are frequently skewed towards prestigious schools and students with existing networks. Whilst there are no barriers to entry to our programmes, we typically work with schools with higher instances of students on free school meals.
Through learning and development opportunities like the Pathfinder Programme, young people can take leaps forward in life by harnessing new experiences, skills and connections.
Our Social Mission
Wiseup is dedicated to ensuring that every young person, regardless of background, has access to opportunities that prepare them for the future. Through mentorship, exposure to the workplace, and skill-building activities, we help students unlock their potential.
We've designed our programmes with the enhancement of cultural capital in mind; to ensure we're achieving our objectives, we measure changes in the students' knowledge, skills, confidence, and career awareness before and after the programme.
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to develop their cultural capital through direct experience of the workplace. By working 1-2-1 with their mentor from their partner companies, we help equip them with the knowledge, confidence, and networks to succeed in the modern workplace.
