At Hey Girls we are revolutionising periods as the only social enterprise that donates 100% of our profit to funding the fight to eradicate period poverty and lobby for period dignity across the UK.
In under 5 years, we have become the main provider of period products to the local authorities throughout the UK, delivered on huge corporate accounts and won tender contracts over big commercial names.
We are proud to be female lead and the only company to match our product sales exactly as donations – when you buy one, we donate one.
We distribute donations via our UK wide community partner network who work on the frontline to support vulnerable people.
As social enterprise of the year, we break records, boundaries, and bias when it comes to period equality to ensure everyone has access to sustainable products and inclusive education – for free!

Our mission is to eradicate period poverty in the UK, improve access to quality products & increase education around period health to eliminate shame and stigma.
With our buy one, donate one business model we’ve donated 42 Million period products to people in need, and counting (as at November 2024)
Sustainable change starts with quality products
Whether your Hey Girls product is purchased or donated, we only provide quality, sustainable products for our customers.
We use natural materials without any hidden nasties like chlorine or toxins and our plant-based ingredients are responsibly sourced and renewable.
Our plant-based disposable products are made from 100% certified organic cotton, bamboo and corn starch.
Our award-winning reusable range of pads, pants and cups, last between 5-10 years, saving tonnes of waste heading into landfill.
With eco wash bags made from ocean-bound plastic bottles and a zero waste cardboard sleeve, it’s no wonder we’re the first social enterprise to be recognised for an award at COP26 as the ‘Heroes of Net Zero’.
