If you need to set up and grow your business, but you don’t want the burden of an office, try our Business Assist Membership.

About us
Castle Cavendish sees itself as a social impact company. Its mission is to improve people’s lives in Nottingham, by supporting the local voluntary and business sectors to grow and develop in an ethical and sustainable way. We try to epitomise the 3 P’s of sustainability – People, Planet and Profit – and we aim to deliver a ‘triple bottom line’ that maximises our community impact.
To make this happen, Castle Cavendish oversees a £2.8m property portfolio, comprising business centres, retail units and commercial office space. In our capacity as a certified social enterprise, we support local business development, by offering high quality, flexible workspace, along with meeting rooms, training/workshop space and conference facilities. By operating these places and spaces by applying ‘The Good Ethical Standard’ we match up to 10 key pledges that ensure we abide by good ethical, social and environment principles.
The net proceeds from our property base, along with grant from various funding bodies, supports a Community Programme that tries to address the needs of our communities, whilst maximising opportunities to improve residents quality of life. This year we working with a range of trusted voluntary sector delivery partners investing over £300k in supporting children and young people through our Holiday Activity & Food provision, promoting active and healthy lifestyles from our new venture at Haydn Road Sportsground, working with residents and groups to deliver a local heritage project, and working to increase the capacity and capability of the voluntary and community sector across our locality.
With over 15 years of experience of delivering its charitable objects, along with successfully operating a commercial trading arm, Castle Cavendish continues to make a difference to the communities of Nottingham.
